BOB JOHNSONwas just 6 years old when he started cleaning and conditioning tack on his family's working ranch. By age 8 he found his passion for leather work performing the necessary repairs to halters, western saddles, and heavy harnesses.
A horseman first and foremost, Bob raised and trained equines within multiple disciplines. From halter Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas, Bob also held a Racing Quarter Horse training license for many years. Because of his diverse equestrian background, Bob is comfortable working on the full range of hunter/jumper and dressage saddles and tack, western show saddles, and silver embellished show halters. You can also count on Bob for custom leather work, training tools, custom sizing, custom mini horse equipment and repair for riding boots and small leather goods.
Bob showed at the Quarter Horse Congress for several years with state title-winning halter horses. He also presented halter appaloosas at the Appaloosa World Show in Oklahoma City, winning the world title in 1976 with Mighty Handful.

Bob trained racing quarter horses and held his training license for several years. He trained multiple stakes winners and was known for always finding appropriate homes for his horses after their racing careers ended. Many went on to become successful hunters and jumpers.

Bob is on the cutting edge of the latest technology and advancements in saddles. He has traveled across the country attending classes, seminars, and clinics to further improve his craft. Tree repairs, tree replacements, head plate repairs/replacement, re-flocking, new panels, billet replacement, knee and thigh block replacement, the list goes on. Bob can also make tree alterations to Kieffer and Prestige saddles in-house.

Having spent years on the professional western show circuit and on working ranches, Bob knows all there is to know about western saddles.
